Lip balms are a must irrespective of the season and environment and I love trying new lip balms a lot.
Last time I reviewed Vedic Line Chocolate Lip Cream which was not satisfactory at all. This lip balm, Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm In Strawberry is being used by many; every one knows that well but still I’m here to share my experience with it today.
What Nivea Claims:
“Do your lips need soft care and extra moisturization? Try Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry!
- It has a delicious fruity scent combined with smoothing, long lasting care for your lips.
- It naturally enhances your lips with shimmering pigments and a soft glossy colour.
- Protect your lips from harmful UVA & UVB rays with SPF 10.”

My Experience With Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm In Strawberry
Packaging:This lip balm comes in a plastic white tube with a reddish cap. The shade name can be found on the cap. Overall the packaging is regular and not special. However it is travel friendly and hygienic. Tub packaging isn’t good and so I mostly prefer chap sticks.
Smell & Texture:
The smell is very decent berry scent and there’s nothing to complain about it. The lip balm is so glossy and glides very easily on the lips. It isn’t creamy; so, you don’t have to struggle to apply it.
Tint & Pigmentation:
The shade is something like warm red in the tube but comes out to be orangy on the lips. There are shimmers in the tube but aren’t visible on the lips. This can be compared to a lip gloss since it gives glossy lips. If you are looking to use a glossy lip balm then this is for you.
The lip balm gives very light tint which can be visible on clear naturally pink lips but not on pigmented lips. I think the tint of Nivea fruity shine in pomegranate is better than this one but still this is a good bet.
Moisturization:
You cannot complain in this regard since this lip balm keeps lips well moisturized for pretty good hours. On regular usage, you may even get rid of chapped lips but I expect it to moisturize lips even better. Overall, this is one of the best lip balms I found so far.
Pros of Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm In Strawberry:
- Affordable
- Good packaging
- Travel friendly
- Decent berry scent
- Glossy texture
- Glides smoothly on lips
- Gives slight coral orangy tint
- Moisturizes pretty well
- Tint is not visible on pigmented lips but that’s not a con for me
- Moisturization could have been better.
May be sometimes but not frequently because I like Maybelline’s baby lips.
Will I Recommend This?
Yes because I think next to baby lips this is the better one among many lip balms of this range. But if you are looking for a good tinted one then baby lips is the better choice.
