I mostly use lip colors with some good amount of tint than lip glosses. Last time when I shopped from Jabong, I added this Coloressence lip gloss in Almond Delight to my cart to try it. And I must say I’m impressed. Before you conclude here and go to buy this one, take a look at my experience with this gloss.

My Experience With Coloressence Lip Gloss In Almond Delight

Packaging:
This lip gloss comes in a thick, transparent tube with black cap; the cap has a sponge doe- foot applicator. This applicator is perfect in picking the right amount of the gloss that covers the lips.

Color:
The shade is named as ‘Almond Delight’ since it is beige sandy brown in color with slight orange undertones to it. You can find micro silver shimmers in it which are almost invisible on the pout but definitely adds some extra shine to the gloss. The color is very toned down with a mild brownish warm kind of glow which can be considered almost nude on the pout. The name justifies the color since it almost looks like the almond peel color and this color seems perfect for Indian skin tones. Those who like wearing neutral lip color or nude shades can opt this one.

Texture & Finish:
The texture of this lip gloss is definitely very smooth, glides smoothly on the lips without tugging. The gloss is gel based and is neither thick nor thin in consistency. It’s not sticky either. Plus it is quite moisturizing and so you don’t have to use lip balm if you are applying this. If  you don’t have too dry and flaky lips, then the moisturization it provides is enough. You even don’t have to exfoliate before applying this gloss. If you have dry lips, then apply some lip balm and then go for it. If you are looking for a clear and almost nude lip gloss, then this can be for you.

Staying Power:
The gloss may stay on lips for around 3 hours. Though you can’t see the tint for long and after having meals a thin layer of the gloss is left behind without tint. So, for the price I think it’s good. I’ve nothing to complain about it.

No, since I’m more of a lip color girl than a glossy girl.But if I want to use a lip gloss like this, then I may try other colors in this range.
