I used to blog a couple of years back when I received two lip colors from L’Oreal Paris to try. These L’Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Colors were launched then among which I got to try two shades which were ‘605 Eve’ and ‘702 Juliette’. Today I’m going to review the shade ‘605 Eve’ for you ladies which I really like a lot.

My Experience With L’Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Color In 605 Eve

Packaging:

The lip color comes in a golden tube or case which is really classy and the shade name and number is marked on the cap for identification. The tube is packed in an outer cover on which the shade name and number is again printed and a small hole is provided through which the color of the product can be seen. This is a plus so that you can see the shade without opening it. Though the tube is golden, a small section is left transparent to enable us to identify the shade. The packaging is definitely impressive and classy to fall for. The lid is screw type which is tight and intact so the liquid doesn’t drop out at all while traveling; so it’s travel friendly as well.

Applicator:

There is a flat sponge like thing at the tip of the applicator which spread the lip color evenly on the lips quite smoothly. It doesn’t let you waste the product by taking out excess color. So, there’s no complaint with the applicator as well.

Texture And Fragrance:
This is neither runny nor creamy but has perfect texture as a lip color. Unlike lip gloss it isn’t runny; so I’m impressed with the texture as well. I should also mention that this lip color is really moisturizing. So, you don’t have to apply lip balm beneath this. This doesn’t smell strong at all and the fragrance is just regular like any other lip product. It isn’t heavy on lips as well; it feels light weight on the pout.

Shade:

I love pink shades a lot but unfortunately not all the shades suit me well and so I grab those suit me. This lip color seems to have slight purple undertones which I’m not really sure but this looks more like berry red with some pink hint in it. This shade isn’t a unique shade at all; you can find similar shade in many brands but still this is something which suits almost all the skin tones. So, you can easily buy it without worrying about your skin tone. This is a huge plus with this shade. Since this is a decent pink shade, this can be used regularly even to office or college. This shade won’t grab other’s attention towards lips and so is a decent color to wear on daily basis to work place and carry confidently. That is the reason why I like this shade a lot.

Pigmentation:
The pigmentation is definitely good but not too pigmented. So, if you have very much pigmented lips, you need to either apply two or more layers of it or conceal your lips before applying it. If you have slightly pigmented lips, then a single layer is really enough. Two layers of it will give intense color but I prefer a single swipe to keep it simple.

Staying Power:
Staying power of this lip color is really impressive. I apply just a single layer of it and it stayed up to 5 – 6 hours easily without meals. Even while fading it leaves a hint of the color. It doesn’t fade unevenly at all. However it transfers to glass; so be careful on this. If you are eating and drinking anything, then re-apply it. This is common with most of the lip products. If you swiped it twice and not eating or drinking anything, then this will easily stay on lips for 7 – 8 hours.
The quantity of the lip color I use to fill up my lips is very less; so it almost lasted me an year. Spending just 499/- on this product is worth it.

Yes, definitely since this shade can be used regularly. This is the shade I can wear confidently when I’m not sure of what to wear. But I’d like to try other shades as well.
