If you are choosing solid form of dye then you simply need to melt the brick in a glass or plastic bowl with hot water. Similarly, if you are using powder henna then mix it well with lukewarm water. Mix it well till you get a mud kind of consistency. Once, you get this mixture, it's ready to apply to your hair.

    Yes! It is a hard fact that henna dye does leave behind similar color everywhere. You might get little lighter shades at the edges and darker shade on higher ends. It is a good option if you want to unevenly highlight your hair. Otherwise, be careful about it.

    Once you have applied henna the color is supposed to stay with you for a while, you cannot change with any other dye. Always use another dye once the henna dye had died out and your hair needs a new color.
