Skin Logix Advanced Night Repair Serum Review

    By Gayatri

Today I’m here with a different product; by that I mean a product not so easily available. This is a night serum made for skin lightening or for scar removal. Last year when I went through a small skin treatment I got scars or marks left on my skin when my friend and a beauty blogger, Apoorva suggested me this product. So, I immediately got it and tried and here it goes the review.

    Price: INR 249 for 25ml

What Skin Logix Advanced Night Repair Serum Claims?
“Richfeel Skin Logix Advance Whitening Night repair Serum reveals a fairer and younger looking skin. The Advanced Night Repair Serum as a skin whitening formula revitalizes, repairs and whitens skin at night when cell renewal is at its peak
Reveal a fairer and younger-looking skin

    Instructions:
“Apply on clean skin before you go to bed. Apply a drop or two on each fingertip of one hand, touch fingertips of the both hands together, massage serum over face and neck, starting at the center, outward. Repeat if necessary. For best results, use in combination with Balancing Day Cream.”

My Experience With Skin Logix Advanced Night Repair Serum

    Packaging:
This serum comes in a dark brown glass made bottle with a dropper. Since this is for skin lightening it might have an ingredient sensitive to light due to which it’s packaged in such a dark bottle. It’s also mentioned clearly that the product should be kept in a dark place and should not exposed to sunlight. The packaging is however not so good. If you throw it into your bag, it may leak. The dropper is also not a good idea for this consistency. Taking it out with the dropper is a mess. Most of the time I pulled out the product with the dropper like a spoon or stick but did not actually used it as a dropper since the product doesn’t come out so easily. So, overall I hate its packaging.

    Fragrance & Consistency:
This smells like a chemical and little odd but since it’s not so strong, I think you can bare it. Now coming to the consistency, it’s liquid but not runny at all. On applying it gets absorbed into the skin easily and you don’t have to struggle with it.

My Experience With Skin Logix Advanced Night Repair Serum:
I’ve searched many products to fade away my scars and even out my skin tone but you know very well that this is an area where many products fail. We need to be patient while using any skin lightening product. Moreover I have so much of tan. So most of the products fail for me even when they work for few.

First I’d like to talk about the product. As I said its consistency is neither runny nor thick. It get absorbed into the skin very easily. I suggest you put small dots all over your face if you don’t want to miss any area while applying. I’m saying so because the serum gets into the skin so fast that you can’t spread it over large area. So, it’s better to use small drops all over the face and use your fingertips to massage.

Very less quantity is enough to cover entire face; so it comes long way. Since this is very light you may feel as if you didn’t apply anything. I suggest you use a good night cream as well along with it for better moisturization. I’m not sure but I read that this works differently in different seasons. I’ll observe this and will update regarding this.

I used this serum since about a month and I hardly noticed anything. It takes so much of time but I think it does work. It lightens the marks and evens out the skin but you need to be very patient and give it time to work. Use few months if you have stubborn tan, uneven skin tone or marks. Overall, it’s not something that doesn’t work at all. Since many products fail to lighten skin tone, I rate it as a good product since it works even if it takes so much of time.

    Pros:
    1. Affordable
    2. Good consistency
    3. Packed in a dark bottle to protect it from sunlight
    4. Gets absorbed into skin quickly
    5. Very less quantity is enough and so comes long way
    6. Fades away scars and evens out skin tone but takes time
    Cons:
    1. Not at all travel friendly since it leaks
    2. Dropper is a bad idea since the product doesn’t come out easily with it
    3. Taking out the product is a mess
    4. Dry skin and winters may demand extra moisture. So, it’s suggested to use it along with a good moisturizer
    5. Very slow results

    Rating: 3.5/5

    Will I Re-Purchase It?
I’m not sure. I may or may not since I’m trying new products. But I’ll get it to try in different seasons.

Will I Recommend It To Others?
Yes, if you have less tan, less marks to fade away because it will take more time to show results. You need to have patience for this. Else, no.
