    1. Baking Soda
    Baking soda is well known for skin lightening and as a cleanser. It is a very simple technique to get rid of dark elbows and knees. You just need to mix it in milk in equal ratio and make paste out of it. Rub it to your knees and elbows gently for 5 minutes and then wash it off followed by pat dry with a towel. Do this every alternate day and see the results.

    2. Aloe Vera
    Aloe vera has good moisturizing property. Just cut an aloe vera leaf into half and rub it to your dark elbows and knees for few minutes and then rinse it. It is that simple to use.

    3. Vinegar
    It can also reduce the darkness; just mix some yogurt with vinegar and rub the mixture to the elbows and knees for 10 minutes and then wash it off.

    4. Coconut Oil

You can leave it if you want but as it is very much sticky you can wash it off once you feel your skin has absorbed enough of it.

    Oatmeal can also be used to treat dark skin by just grinding it with few almonds and some yogurt. Make paste with these ingredients and apply it to these areas and leave it for at least 15 minutes. Massage it well for few minutes and then rinse. Repeat it everyday till you are satisfied.

    It might sound weird but it does work. Cut onion and garlic and make juice with them. Apply it the knees and elbows and leave it for some time. After at least 15 minutes, wash it off with some mild soap and pat dry. You can also take a piece of onion and a piece of garlic and rub it on those areas for 10 to 15 minutes. You can mix yogurt with vinegar and then apply it on your elbows and knees. Let it dry and then rinse it with lukewarm water. You can make it your daily regime for clean and clear knees.
