Benefits Of Orange Peel - Sugar Scrub
- Sugar is always considered as the best scrub for skin. You can easily slough away those dead cells easily but make sure you’re not too harsh on your skin.
- Orange filled with vitamin C is always considered as a skin friendly fruit. Plus its peel tops the list. You use orange peel pack so frequently, don’t you? Then you won’t doubt its benefits, I’m sure.
- Orange peel helps greatly in removing dead skin cells and freshens then.
- Orange with vitamin C refreshes skin and evens out skin as well. So, if you have uneven skin tone, then you should try orange for your skin.
- Honey is a moisturizing agent which holds tight the skin’s natural moisture and doesn’t let it go so easily. So, while scrubbing along with dead cells you usually lose your skin's natural oil but honey will prevent that.
How To Make Orange Peel - Sugar Scrub?
Ingredients Required:- Orange peel powder
- Sugar
- Honey
- Rose water
- I’ve recently prepared this peel powder at home. If you don’t know how to make it, I’ll definitely talk about it soon in a separate post. So, you too need to make some peel powder, else get some from market.
- Now take a small container or a plate and take a spoon of white or brown sugar.
- Add a pinch of orange peel powder. I don’t recommend adding more than that since too much of anything can be harmful and this is pure peel powder.
- Now add a spoon of pure organic honey and mix well.
- If you think that it’s too thick to use it then you can add some rose water or plain water. Don’t add too much since that will make the scrub watery and you won’t be able to use it anymore.
Now take a small amount of the scrub in your palm. Since this is sugar scrub it may fall out easily. So go to sink so that even if it falls your floor doesn’t get dirty.
Gently rub it over one cheek and work on it or a minute. Then move to your second cheek, forehead and then chin followed by nose. Don’t scrub the skin around your eyes. You can also scrub your lips gently.
Don’t be harsh on your skin. Take time and be gentle.
